Spring Renewal with Aromatherapy: Oil Drop Experience & Restorative Yoga Workshop
Spring is a time of renewal, growth, and awakening. Give yourself the gift of relaxation and renewal within the mind, body, and spirit as we head into the spring season.
During the workshop, you will receive a mini oil drop experience applied to your choice of either the feet or back while exploring the benefits of aromatherapy during a special restorative yoga practice. In addition, you will have the opportunity to make your own custom blended essential oil roll-on to take the energy of spring renewal home with you.
Oil drop therapy is the practice of applying a special series of essential oils to the body in a way the emulates the experience of light rain drops on the skin, massaging the essential oils into the skin with a carrier oil, and allowing the body to experience the benefits of these oils. Please note that this application is optional. Students will have the opportunity to do a self-massage with the oils if preferred.
The aromatherapy offered during this experience will incorporate ylang ylang, vanilla, lemon, and sweet orange essential oils to support relaxation, happiness, and renewal.
Everyone is welcome. No prior experience is needed. Please dress comfortably and be prepared to work with and apply oils. Please reach out to emilyalyceyoga@gmail.com if you have any questions about the workshop.
About the Instructor:
Emily Kretzer is a Level 2 Certified Aromatherapist and a Certified C-IAYT Yoga Therapist with a passion for helping individuals experience the healing benefits of yoga and essential oils. Emily discovered the benefits of essential oils while searching for ways to create natural self-care and cleaning products and relieve stress. Her curiosity grew into a desire to share these powerful little drops of nature with others. She is excited to continue her Aromatherapist training in 2024. She is passionate about the power of nature to support wellness and honoring the wheel of the year.
